WOULD YOU LIKE A BLESSING?

“All were baptized into Stewart Traill. In every sense of the word: his teaching, his concepts, his view on life, his skepticism of other Christians. Go and learn what this means”.

Blessed is he and blessed is she who is able to get free from the grip of Stewart Traill and the Church of Bible Understanding, and those who are able to overcome his lies and curses will have a great reward.

The Spirit and The Free Gift

Heb 2:1 Therefore we must pay the closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.
Heb 2:2 For if the message declared by angels was valid and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution,
Heb 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?

Prophecy:

For I say unto you my children, salvation is a gift brought forth by the Lord and Savior (Ac 4:12) and the only way to neglect it (Pro 8:33) is to not recognize it for what it is. (Rom 6:23, Jn 4:10)

It is not a reward.

It is not a payment for time served.

It is not something you can earn,

but it is something offered and something accepted.
(1 Th 2:13, 1 Ti 4:4)

Pay close attention to the truth,

and to who the truth is to you,

and to how the truth makes you free, (Jn 8:32)

without any effort at all,

except to believe and receive.

This is the work of God, that you believe in him who he has sent. (Jn 6:29)

And the unfortunate thing is: the inability to accept the gift.

For how many of your brethren, my children, are caught up in striving and in trying to earn something that the Lord God has given freely?

That you might not boast, (1 Co 4:7) but that you might boast (I Co 1:31) that the Lord God saw fit:

to offer peace, where you have no peace,(Mk 4:39, Mk 5:34, Lk 1:79, Jn 14:27, Jn 16:33, Jn 20:19,21, Rm 5:1, Rm 8:6, Rm 15:13, Rm 15:33, Eph 2:27, Php 1:2, 2 Th 3:16)

to offer comfort, when you feel no comfort.(Ps 119:50, Ps 119:76, Is 40:1, Is 51:3, Is 57:18, Is 66:13, Jer 31:13, 2 Co 1:3-7, 1 Th 4:18, 2 Th 2:16,17)

The Lord God says:

‘Seek the Lord and you will find what you are seeking’ so that you will have no reason to be ashamed on that day.(Ps 34:5, Is 54:4, 1 Co 4:14, Php 1:20, Heb 2:11, Heb 11:16, 1 Pe 4:16)

For it is humility my children, to accept a blessing.

And he who accepts a blessing my children, receives all the things connected to the blessing.

All the things that the Lord Jesus offers are granted to you without any effort or striving or hours served.

He who knows how to receive a gift, is he who paid closer attention.

Heb 2:3 It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard him,
Heb 2:4 while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will.
Heb 2:5 For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking.
Heb 2:6 It has been testified somewhere, "What is man that thou art mindful of him, or the son of man, that thou carest for him?
Heb 2:7 Thou didst make him for a little while lower than the angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honor,
Heb 2:8 putting everything in subjection under his feet." Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control.…

Prophesy:

And I say unto you my children, HE IS the PIONEER and PERFECTER of your faith!(Heb 12:2)

It is the LORD JESUS, to whom God put everything in subjection under his feet!

And I am saying unto you my children, if the Lord God gave his Son the authority over the things beneath him, how is it that you do not accept that you have authority over the things beneath you?!

LET NOT the ENEMY ROB YOU of this gift!

It is a gift to have authority!

And this worthless one (Stewart Traill) would have robbed you of having a gift, any gift! (1 Co 7:7)

How many gifts were displayed that he smashed?

One brother was a beautiful artist, and yet his gift was smashed repeatedly! (Eze 34:4)

Even though he churned out covers for his (Stewart’s) magazines: the Workbooks, the this book, the that book, and yet it was a gift that he took pleasure in smashing personally and publicly. (Ps 62:4, Pro 6:12-19, Pro 18:2, 2 Th 2:12, 2 Pe 2:13)

And I am saying to you:

‘If you have a gift, walk in peace with it,

and take pleasure in the blessing of the gift.

Let no one discredit you. (Col 2:18,16, Tit 2:15)

You are the embodiment of the Holy Spirit that dwells within you. (2 Ti 1:14, 1 Co 3:16, Jn 14:17, Rm 8:11)

The Lord Jesus had authority and was not afraid to walk with it.

And if he is your pioneer, do not hesitate to accept your roles of authority in whatever they might be.

(Mt 7:29, Mt 9:6-8, Mt 10:1, Mt 28:18, Mk 1:22, Mk 1:27, Mk 2:10, Mk 3:15, Mk 6:7, Lk 4:6, Lk 4:32, Lk 4:36, Lk 5:24, Lk 9:1, Lk 10:19, 2 Co 10:8)

How quickly you cowtow to someone who blinks at you!

Do not fear!

For the Lord your God is giving you a backbone that you will walk with.

(Cynthia: We were all robbed! We should take pleasure in whatever we have authority in, whether it’s something great or small. Dave: At one point Stewart asked anyone with art talent to submit samples, I knew a very meek brother, who spent at least a week working on and submitting several very well done art pieces, and Stewart crushed him with thoughtless criticism of this brother's talent; and the brother left COBU shortly afterward.)

Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for every one.

Heb 2:10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory,

Prophecy:

And would that you had received the blessings that the Lord would have gladly bestowed upon you!

Would that your understanding of the Lord Jesus and the Father were not funneled through this filter (Stewart Traill) that had no sight.

For though he spoke to you of how the lamp is the eye of the body (Mt 6:22, Lk 11:34) and yet he had no vision to see how dim his eye was.

He who missed grace, missed a lot more. (Lk 11:35)

Discussion:
Cynthia: In other words, while he admitted to that, that there’s a lot more.
Dave: Well, that was the giveaway, what the Lord showed me was that he intended for him to talk more.
Cynthia: He wanted him to come clean?
Dave: Yeah, about all the other stuff that was going on, but that was his red herring, his giveaway thing.
Cynthia: 'I’ll throw this one out there, but I’ll hold these other ones close to the chest'.
Dave: Yeah, he didn’t want to even admit that, that he missed the concept of God’s grace, but he was forced to.
Cynthia: As I was reading that, Heb 2:10, it was as though the Holy Spirit was saying: “This is his intention: to bring the sons to glory” and this was something Stewart was not willing to do.
Jan: Yeah!
Cynthia: He wasn’t willing to give anything to the brethren. If God’s greatest gift, is a GIFT, and if Jesus spent his life being spent for our blessing, Stewart was incapable of portraying that: God’s desire is to bring as many sons to glory as he can. How can you bring a son to glory when you’re criticizing,
Jan: every little thing that he did!
Cynthia: Not only that, but Jan, someone who has an art talent or some specific blessing and to just crush it! That’s to cause that person to want to hide it. Dave: Yeah.
Cynthia: In other words, just because he couldn’t draw, he’s gonna crush someone else who could.
Jan: He was a mean, little person.
Cynthia: He was mean, he was more than mean, he was counterfeit, he was deceitful.
Dave: He was full of malice.
Cynthia: Malice, he was a scoffer, mischief maker, intent on wickedness, you name it, it goes there.

Heb 2:10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering.
Heb 2:11 For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified have all one origin. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Heb 2:12 saying, "I will proclaim thy name to my brethren, in the midst of the congregation I will praise thee."

Prophesy:

For the Lord Jesus gives you every reason, to hold your head up. (Num 6:26, Job 11:15, Job 2:26, Ps 24:9, Ps 116:13)

For it is the Lord Jesus who covers shame, (Rm 9:33, Rm 10:11, 1 Pe 2:6)

and it is the Lord Jesus who blesses you! (2 Co 9:8, Eph 1:3)

He is the lifter of your head!(Ps 3:3, Ps 27:6)

And if your head is lifted, that is the only way you can proclaim anything in a group.

It was most unfortunate that anyone who stood up to make a comment got shot down.

Stewart Traill acted as though he was in a living video game and his purpose was to knock people out from under.

(Cynthia: Now, how counter scripture is that?! Jan: Yeah!)

Heb 2:17 Therefore he had to be made like his brethren in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make expiation for the sins of the people.

Prophecy:

And I am saying to you this:

The Lord your God knows ALL of your weaknesses. All of them!

And the Lord Jesus LIVES to cleanse them! Ha! The Lord Jesus lives to wipe the slate clean, daily! (Heb 7:25, 1 Jn 1:9, Ps 68:19, Ps 51:2, Jer 33:8, Eze 36:25)

Moment by moment!

To any and all who call upon the Lord and say: “Lord lift me up!” (Everyone: Lord Lift me up!)

“Lord God, lift me up!” (Everyone: Lord God, lift me up!)

“Lord God, I fail here!” (Everyone: Lord God, I fail here!)

“And I fail there!” (Everyone: And I fail there)

“Give me victory in spite of it!” (Everyone: Give me victory in spite of it!)

“Give me peace, in spite of my failures!” (Everyone: Give me peace, in spite of my failures Lord!)

And I say to you, my children who hear my voice, Stewart Traill was not a good student.

He did not recognize:

that the Savior lived to bless,

to lift up,

to undo the thongs of the yoke,

to let the oppressed go free,

to break every yoke and every bond!

If anyone is trying to put oppression:

upon your neck,

and your heart,

and your mind,

and your soul,

and your body,

then it is the enemy and it is not the author of life and the Son who he sent as his example.

How can you be an ambassador of peace if you do not know the Lord of Peace?!

Be blessed my sons and daughters!

Let the blessing of the Lord fill you.

Say unto the Lord your God:

“Fill me Lord God with your blessing!” (Everyone: Fill me Lord God with your blessing!)

Say unto the Lord God:

“Lord God, lift me up!” (Everyone: Lord God lift me up!)

“Lord Jesus, cover my sins which are many!” (Everyone: Lord Jesus cover my sins which are many!)

“Help me to hold up my head when I feel ashamed!" (Everyone: Help me to hold up my head when I feel ashamed!)

“And take the shame away!” (Everyone: And take the shame away!)

“Help me to realize in myself…” (Everyone: Help me to realize in myself …)

“That I am accepted!” (Everyone: That I am accepted…)

“..and that I am your child!” (Everyone: …and that I am your child!”)

“And that you smile upon me!” (Everyone: and that you smile upon me!)

“..no matter how many times I fall” (Everyone: No matter how many times I fall!)

“Lift me up Lord Jesus!” (Everyone: Lift me up Lord Jesus!)

“Lift me up Lord God!” (Everyone: Lift me up Lord God!)

“Set me on a firm foundation!” (Everyone: Set me on a firm foundation!)

“Make my bones strong!” (Everyone: Make my bones strong!)

“Make my heart smile!” (Everyone: Make my heart smile!)

“And help me to walk in confidence to you who love me!” (Everyone: and help me to walk in confidence to you who love me!)

(Cynthia: Wow! It’s really amazing! To see the vision of God saying that, it really is intense to know how God loves us.)

Heb 3:1 Therefore, holy brethren, who share in a heavenly call, consider Jesus...

Prophecy:

And this is the point: consider JESUS!

CONSIDER: JESUS! Ha haah!

Consider who he is!

Who he is to YOU!

How he views you:

not with a stick,

not with a finger,

not with a glare,

but he lives to give you peace! (Jn 14:27)

To take away your shame!

To cleanse your heart!

To make you able to see the Lord God!

This is his whole desire:

to bridge the gap between sinful world and faithful Father.

For though the painting showed Jesus being the bridge,(COBU Art Show: John 3:16 ) would that the group lived according to the fact!

There are many groups my children, who think they have the corner on being able to dissect the WORD, but I am saying if they miss who Jesus is, they miss the whole, they miss the mark.

For the Lord Jesus Christ lives to make intercession for YOU! (Heb 7:25)

This is his desire for you. (Mt 9:13, Mt 12:7, Jn 17:24, Eph 1:5-14, Col 1:9,10, 1 Jn 5:14)

Heb 3:10 Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, 'They always go astray in their hearts; they have not known my ways.'
Heb 3:11 As I swore in my wrath, 'They shall never enter my rest.'"

Prophecy:

Indeed! They shall never enter my rest!

Consider this my children, that the description that I gave to you about being in my kingdom, is being at such peace that you are restful!

Going to heaven is getting rest!

Rest from stress.

Rest from toil.

Rest from daily obligations. (Mt 11:28,29, Mk 6:31, 2 Co 7:13)

When you picture in your mind the Kingdom of God, he says it is your REST! Ha haah! Ha,ha,ha,ha,haa!

Oh to Enter My REST!

For the Lord your God says to you my children: REST!

What does he say: “Sit at my feet”(Mt 14:19, Mt 15:35, Mt 26:36, Mk 6:39, Mk 8:6, Eph 2:6)

Mary chose the better portion, what did she do? (Lk 10:39) Sat at my feet and listened!

And in fact, the Lord Jesus said that Martha, although it blessed everyone that she served the meal, and took care of physical needs,

that Mary chose the better portion.(Lk 10:42)

For the Lord your God desires you to hear him, for YOU!Not for someone sitting next to you.

The Lord your God wants your ear to be open to him.

And the Lord God takes pleasure that his children are different.

The Lord God takes pleasure that each of his children have:

different desires,

and ambitions,

and thoughts,

and feelings,

and considerations.

For I say to you, would it be a disappointment that every child that you brought forth was a carbon copy? A robot?

You take pleasure my children, in knowing each of your children and grandchildren, that they are unique.

The Lord God takes pleasure in each of your uniqueness.

The Lord God takes pleasure in giving you the Kingdom and when you get there you will have rest.

(Cynthia: So people who don’t know God, they never get to go to the rest. They get to live in toil and strife and oppression and fear and doubt and frustration, and all the things that aren’t associated with peace.)

Heb 3:12 Take care, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

Prophecy:

And what is an unbelieving heart?

But one that does not believe that the Lord God gives peace.(1 Co 7:15)

That the Lord God lives to bless you.

This is the work: to believe that the blessing is for you.

Be blessed, that you might bless.

Be lifted up, that you might lift up.

Receive comfort, that you might give comfort.(1 Co 1:4)

For all need comfort and all need a blessing, and all need strengthening, and these are the things that the Lord Jesus has in abundance, and gives freely to his children.

Discussion:
Cynthia: It’s like: how can we fall away from the living God, when all he does is have his hand out?! The unbelieving heart has to do with not believing that Jesus, that God wants us to have peace and rest.
Dave: That God forgives sins, that he lifts us up.
Jan: This is amazing, I keep seeing things so clear.
Dave: He lifts us up, forgives our transgressions.
Cynthia: The unbelieving heart has to do with not being able to believe who God really is and who Jesus really is.

Heb 3:13 But exhort one another every day,

Prophecy:

And does this not give you a hint my children, at how often you need to be exhorted?! (Jan: Everyday)

EXACTLY! Everyday! (2 Co 4:16)

So, I would say to you my children, if the Lord God says to exhort one another every day, then doesn’t it stand to reason that you need it?! (Jan: Yeah!)

And if it is a need, then it is a need that the Lord Jesus is able to provide, for he is able!

He is able! HE IS ABLE! THE LORD GOD IS ABLE! (2 Ti 1:12, Heb 2:18, Heb 7:25) (Dave: my mom’s favorite verse! Jan: Lift me up daily Lord God!)

"He is ABLE!"(E: He is able!)

He is able to bring to completion the work he began in you! (Php 1:6)

And what was that work?

To cause you to BELIEVE that there was Salvation for YOU! (1 Th 5:9, Tit 2:11)

That is ‘The Sinner’s Prayer’ that there is salvation FOR YOU!

If that is the work that he started: convincing you that there is salvation FOR YOU, then to exhort one another every day, is to exhort you in what you started in: that there is salvation for you EVERY DAY! Every hour! Every minute!

This is the blessing of the Lord!

The blessing OF THE LORD!

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD!

“Lord God fill me with your blessing!”(E: Lord God, fill me with your blessing!)

“Lord God, fill me with your comfort!” (E: Lord God, fill me with your comfort!)

“Lord God, fill me with hope!” (E: Lord God, fill me with hope!)

“Lord God, exhort me, that I might exhort my brother and sister!” (E: Lord God, exhort me that I might exhort my brother and sister!)

“Speak into my ear hope, Lord God!” (E: Speak into my ear hope, Lord God!)

“And take out every twisted thing that I embraced in the past…” (E: and take out every twisted thing that I embraced in the past…)

…”in your name” (E: in your name)

“For they said it was your name Lord God, when it was far from you!” (E: For they said it was your name Lord God, when it was far from you.)

“Help me to come to know who you are Lord God!”(E: Help me to know who you are Lord God!)

“Help me to see you with new eyes” ((E: Help me to see you with new eyes)

“Help me to become like a child …” (Mt 18:3) (E: Help me to become like a child…)

…”who trusts in those who are older” (E: …who trusts in those who are older)

“For Lord God..” (E: For Lord God…)

“I thank you for your acceptance” (E: I thank you for your acceptance)

“I thank you for your embrace!” (E: I thank you for your embrace!)

“I thank you for all the blessings” (E: I thank you for all the blessings)

Heb 3:17 And with whom was he provoked forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

Prophecy:

And I say unto you my children, what – was – their – sin ? (Dave: Disbelief)

I tell you this my children, their sin was denying that he who worked a multitude of miracles (1 Sa 10:18), that no other eye saw, and then disbelieved:

For they saw the plagues,(Ex 9:14)

and they saw the firstborn of Pharaoh's people,(Ex 9:14, Ex 11:5, Ex 11:12, Ex 11:29, Ex 13:15)

they saw all the mighty works,(Ex 14:31, Mt 11:20-23, Mk 6:2, Lk 10:13, Lk 19:37, Ac 2:11)

they saw the parting of the Red Sea,(Ex 13:18)

they saw their deliverance from the hand of slavery,(Ex 13:3, Deut 6:21, Gal 5:1)

they saw that their needs were met even in the middle of the wilderness,

they saw that they had food every day,(Ex 16:31,35)

they saw that their clothes did not rot on their bodies,(Deut 29:5)

and yet with all these things they had unbelief. (Jn 15:24)

There are many who don’t see anything and take hope in God. (Jn 20:29-31, 1 Pe 1:18,19)

These were those who saw, and denied the power and blessing of the Lord.(Heb 6:4-6, Num 14:22,33)

That the Lord God did these things to bless them.

They scoffed, they sneered, they thought about what they gave up, they looked back and said that the former days were better than these, and this was their sin.(Ecc 7:10)

That they did not recognize that God delivered them and they did not have thankfulness in their hearts.(Ex 14:11, Ex 16:3, Ex 17:3, Ps 50:14, 2 Co 4:15, Eph 5:4, Php 4:6, Col 2:7, 1 Ti 4:4) That they sought out many devices. (Ecc 7:29)

They sought out ways to be ungrateful, in the midst of being delivered. (Deu 6:16, Ps 78:18, Ps 78:41, Ps 78:56)

These were those that the Lord God, through the hand of Moses, delivered from Pharaoh's mighty hand.(Ac 7:30-36)
